rx3715

Got Linux booting on my rx3715. Problem was in wrong serial port number. I thought that serial port brought to external connector is ttySAC0, but it's ttySAC1 on rx3715. Just changed some values in kernel config - and voila - it boots. Will try to get touch screen, buttons, udc and ASIC3 working a bit later.

Btw, now I have serial cable for iPAQs and JTAG adapter (Olimex). So I hope debugging will be easier now. :)

Great news, are you working on a hosted git account or locally just on your pc? Planning to develop the drivers from scratch or rewrite some of the previous attempts to write drivers for it? Looking forward to seeing how it goes. If i find time i'll try out any developments on my rx3715.

Locally right now, trying to get tmio_mmc working (got asic3 gpios working recently). Almost all drivers are upstremed, so I just trying to get them working with rx3715.

Hey, really random question...I didn't know where to ask you this at. Did you ever get sram working on the pxa270?
anarsoul said…
Sure, with minor hacks. But why you're asking? :)

I was trying to see if I could take a look at the code to see if it would help speed up android graphics on a pxa based device. Or anything for that matter…the pxa270 doesn’t support copybit or 2d acceleration….?

@Eduardo M.L. thanks! I'm finishing with H1940 BT and NAND issues and then I'll continue my work on rx3715.

Hello anarsoul, did you effectivelly use haret and the h1940 image?

I am experimenting with the mini2440 board files (because apart the bt and
wifi everything is the same)but haret is giving some trouble :)

I'm mostly use u-boot with h1940 (s3c2410-based), but for rx3715 and rx1950 I use haret, and it works here nicely
